The official Christmas cake is on the table, and this Vergani Gluten Free Panettone adds a degree of taste with pistachios within while using the same 72-hour rising period as its conventional cousin.
For breakfast the following morning, after your Christmas Day feast, and most definitely on San Biagio day. Why? According to Milanese custom, you should save one piece of panettone until February 3rd, bless it, and eat it first thing in the morning to ward off illness.
